To Create Shading
Make sure
"Consider Shading From External Buildings" is
checked on in the
Properties for:
Project dialog.
- Use the Add Shading Elements tools such as Add Slab, Cone, Cylinder or Add Shape and Extrude Shape to create a 3D solid to use as the shading object.

Select
(Create Shading), click on the 3D
object, and reset.
A new folder "Shading Objects" appears in the Project Tree containing the new shading object (Shade 1).
- Run a Simulation.
- Go to Result Viewer tab and review the "Zone Windows Total Transmitted Solar Radiation Rate" results.
